The home clinic will be DAD Plano located at 7000 Preston Rd. Plano, TX 75024. You must have a valid driver's license and your own reliable transportation. The role will cover open shifts at the following locations as needed:DAD Baylor - 411 N. Washington Ave. Suite 4000, Dallas, TX 75246DAD N. Dallas - 10703 Preston Rd. Dallas, TX 75230DAD Las Colinas - 6750 N. MacArthur Blvd. Suite 260, Irving, TX 75039DAD McKinney - 7300 Eldorado Pkwy, Suite 100, McKinney, TX 75070DAD Denton -2660 Scripture St., Suite 200, Denton, TX 76201Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:Escort patients to and from the exam room, preparing the patient for their examination.Enter complete medical histories along with patients' current medications into the chart.Assist the Physician/Provider in the room by scribing the notes in the patient's medical record.Assist with setting up biopsies, excisions, suture removals, and cosmetic procedures.Prepare and collect path/lab specimens, notify patients of results, and schedule follow-up appointments.Daily cleaning and organizing exam rooms, along with stocking the rooms.Laboratory maintenance that includes cleaning and autoclaving instruments.Other duties as assigned to the back office.Providing coverage at all DAD clinics as needed.QualificationsEducation:High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.Certified Medical Assistant preferred but not required.Medical Assistant training is required.Qualifications:Must have 2-3 years of experience working in a medical office as a medical assistant.Prior Dermatology and cosmetic experience is required.Quality written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.Strong phone etiquette.Teamwork.Professional in appearance and mannerisms.Able to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others, patients, and co-workers.Able to prioritize tasks, understand the provider's instructions, and know when to seek information or advice.Strong organizational skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Experience working on electronic medical records.Prior EMA experience is preferred.Must have a valid driver's license.Our competitive benefits package includes the following:Medical, Dental, and Vision insuranceShort-term/Long-term disabilityLife and other voluntary plans401(k) planEmployee Referral ProgramPaid Time-OffCompany-Paid HolidaysEquipment Operated:Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.Physical Requirements:Must possess manual dexterity to operate office machines including computer and calculator; stooping and bending to handle files and supplies; and mobility to complete errands or deliveries.
