MAINTENANCE MECHANIC (2ND SHIFT)NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (ONSITE)JOB ID: 23583Our client is a multinational pharmaceutical company that manufactures and sells pharmaceutical formulations and active pharmaceutical ingredients in more than 100 countries across the globe. They are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic who will support pharmaceutical manufacturing plant/equipment/utilities maintaining compliance with all state and federal guidelines with emphasis on current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) requirements. Federal and State regulatory requirements.WHAT YOU GET TO DOPerform Preventive Maintenance and breakdown maintenance consistent with cGMP engineering maintenance requirements.Perform non-routine tasks as necessary.Troubleshoot issues and problems for optimal running efficiency by solving simple to complex problems related to equipment or process.Maintain documents related to PM, breakdown maintenance and usage logbook.Follow all company policies related to job safety in addition to all regulatory guidelines.Perform and assist in improvements/maintenance to all site operations.Other duties as assigned.WHAT YOU BRING Minimum of High School/Trade School/Vocational School Diploma, GED, or equivalentMinimum 1 - 2 years of Mechanical Maintenance experience, in industrial, manufacturing or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.Black Seal Boiler License or HVAC Certification are preferredAbility to identify replacement parts from manuals and other resourcesBasic Math and Computer Skills including MS Office and some experience with SAOperational understanding and troubleshooting process of manufacturing equipment such as Blenders, Sifters, Mills, Printing Machines, Dust Collectors, Tablet Dedusters, and Packaging EquipmentGood Interpersonal skillsBasic understanding of cGMP and OSHA RegulationsThe requirement for English language proficiency for this job role is Basic A2 (comparable to Global CEFR Basic A2) level based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).Must be able to work for a US based company without requiring visa PENSATION AND BENEFITSPay rate range of $33.00 to $38.50 an hour based on experience and qualifications, as well as geographical market and business considerations.
