Fast-paced Retail company is searching for VP HR, Los Angeles Our client, a rapidly growing brand, is in search of a dynamic, highly experienced, results-driven and independent individual to step into the pivotal role of VP Human Resources to lead the Human Resources function for our retail and stores division. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the retail industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within this sector. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives, management of the full-life cycle of our employees, fostering a positive employee experience, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute HR strategies that support the retail and stores division's business goals.Lead and manage a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship.Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and development programs for store employees.Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws, and safety standards.Develop and implement compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and attractive to retail employees.Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.Collaborate with store managers and regional leaders to address HR-related issues and concerns.Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in retail HR.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, with a significant focus on retail and stores.Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies in a retail environment.Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.Proficiency in HR and salaries systems and other HR technology.
