POSITION SUMMARY The Associate Sourcing Manager you will execute global strategic sourcing strategies for the Boot Barn Exclusive Brands. This role is responsible for implementing brand aesthetic, quality, cost, margin, and on-time delivery to maintain high product standards. You will exercise independent judgment while collaborating with the Vendor Partner Community to drive key sourcing metrics and work cross-functionally with the cross functional teams. A foundational knowledge of global sourcing is essential. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesVendor Allocation Support: Assist in executing vendor allocation strategies, gathering data, and monitoring performance to optimize capacity, cost, and delivery.Sourcing Risk Monitoring: Monitor and report potential supply chain risks. Support risk assessment and initial mitigation efforts.Time and Action Calendar Execution: Manage and execute the Time & Action calendar for assigned orders, ensuring adherence to deadlines and flagging issues.Vendor Relationship: Cultivate strong working relationships with assigned vendors for day-to-day communications, supporting continuous improvement efforts.Cost Negotiation Support: Conduct initial cost analyses and prepare materials for negotiations. Perform cross-costing analyses to identify savings. Track product costs to support margin actualization. Assist in identifying and implementing cost optimization initiatives.Vendor Scorecard Management: Maintain and update vendor scorecard data, tracking performance and preparing reports for management review.COO Strategy Support: Execute specific aspects of the company's Country of Origin (COO) strategy, ensuring compliance and data collection.New Vendor Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new vendors, ensuring compliance with company standards and smooth integration.Cross-Functional Team (CFT) Participation: Actively participate in weekly CFT meetings, providing sourcing updates and collaborating with relevant teams for efficient project execution.Demonstrates a professional level of quality work, attendance, appearance, communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers, and managementAdhere to all local, federal, and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.Perform any other duties that may be assigned by managementQualificationsBachelors degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Textiles, or related field (or equivalent years of direct work experience)3+ years of experience with global apparel sourcingKnowledge and working experience with garment construction, textile development and category-specific sourcing (knits, wovens, - denim and outwear experience a plus)Proven ability to manage full product lifecycle from Concept to PO placement with a focus on cost engineeringProficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Excel (PLM experience a plus)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, deadline driven environmentStrong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skillsCompetenciesCustomer Centric/Product Driven Is attentive to our customers and understands our brand/product quality requirementsOffers product options that are aligned with our brand ethos and design intent/directionContinually searches for ways to partner and work in a transparent manner with multiple divisionsEnsure Effective Communication - Listens carefully and attentively to others' opinions and ideasCommunicates information clearly, concisely, and professionallyEstablish Trust - Follows through on commitments.
