Job Title: Sourcing SpecialistLocation: Edison, NJ (Hybrid Onsite as needed)Schedule: 8:00 AM 4:30 PMPay Rate: $53 $55/hourJob Type: Contract / Full-TimeCertification: CMRP (Certified Materials & Resource Professional) required at hire or within 12 monthsJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Specialist to join our dynamic Supply Chain team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and negotiating contracts, identifying cost savings, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring continuity in supply through proactive supplier engagement. This role plays a key part in supporting supply chain goals, maintaining data integrity, and contributing to procurement strategies that align with our healthcare systems operational objectives.Key Responsibilities:Identify cost savings opportunities through contract negotiations with GPOs and vendorsLead Request for Proposal (RFP) processes and assist departments in supplier selectionSource and negotiate contracts across multiple product and service categoriesRapidly identify alternate suppliers in urgent or supply-constrained situationsManage relationships with domestic and international suppliersMeet with supplier representatives and conduct quarterly performance reviewsCollaborate with Value Analysis and internal stakeholders to share cost-saving opportunitiesSupport departments in implementing cost-saving initiativesEnsure pricing accuracy by working closely with Pricing and Data Integrity teamsManage contract documentation and ensure compliance with Legal requirementsMaintain up-to-date records of pricing, renewals, and contract changesAssist purchasing teams in resolving pricing or vendor-related issuesIdentify and source substitute products during recalls or shortagesTrack and report cost savings performance by defined periodsUse Google tools (e.g., Sheets, Docs, Slides) to analyze supplier/category spendAct as procurement liaison for internal and external inquiriesSupport product branding and standardization initiativesParticipate in process improvement and workflow optimization initiativesPerform other duties in accordance with HMH standardsQualifications:Bachelors degree or equivalent experienceMinimum 7 years of relevant sourcing or procurement experienceCMRP certification required at time of hire or within 12 monthsStrong project management and time management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.)Preferred Experience:Experience in healthcare or hospital supply chain environmentFamiliarity with GPOs, RFP processes, and healthcare compliance requirementsWorking knowledge of contract management systems and ERP platformsPride Health offers eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors
