Guided Care is seeking a Senior Director of MCO Contracting. The Senior Director of Contracting is responsible for ensuring the complete operational and fiscal success and functioning of the contracting department. The Senior Director of MCO Contracting reports to the Vice President of Operations. This is a hybrid role- candidates will be required to work in our Lakewood, NJ office a few days/week.Key Results Area Responsible for fiscal success and operational excellence of the Contracting Department. Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support for their professional growth. Create and maintain solid processes for all functions of the Contracting Department. Document processes and ensure they are easily accessible by employees and senior leadership. Hold full responsibility for client satisfaction with the contracting services Guided Care provides, constantly questioning how to better services and taking action to implement new ideas and strategies after discussion and approval from VP of Operations. Continuously evaluate processes and procedures to identify gaps, develop new strategies, and improve efficiency within the operations team and stakeholders, with a focus on cost reduction and client satisfaction. Oversee licensing services. Ensure the contracting team reviews and works on rate raises on a cadence set by executive leadership. Attend Healthcare Shows a minimum of 4 times/year and PRN. Work and secure group Guided Care Contracts. Travel to designated MCO key players to establish Guided Care as a key partner. Create strong working relationships with payers to maintain Guided Cares' reputation as a strategic and valuable 3rd party consulting company. Develop and maintain a strong process for onboarding new clients to contracting services. Collaborate with Executive Assistant, assigned supervisor, and contractor to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients. Join QBRs and client onboarding calls as needed to support the team. Regularly review denial logs to ensure team members are up to date on reviewing opportunities to obtain previously denied contracts.Requirements 10+ years of experience in SNF contracting. 5+ years in a leadership role. Excellent supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to foster the individual growth of team members. Travel 25% Independent and self-motivated. Innovative and detail-oriented professional with strong research and organizational skills.
