Our client is seeking an HR Coordinator to join their Baton Rouge team and support the administrative functions across all areas of HR. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional with foundational experience who is eager to grow their career. The company has doubled in employee population over the past three years and continues to expand, offering future opportunities to advance into higher-level HR positions.The HR Coordinator will provide administrative support for benefits, onboarding, compliance, payroll and office operations. This role will serve as a vital resource for both employees and managers while ensuring smooth HR processes and contributing to a thriving workplace culture.Key ResponsibilitiesHR Compliance & Administration: Maintain employee records (I-9s, certifications, etc.), manage onboarding/offboarding, and support HR policy administration.Payroll & Benefits Support: Assist with payroll processing, benefits enrollment/changes, and respond to employee inquiries.Employee Experience: Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions, help coordinate engagement activities, and support conflict resolution when needed.Performance & Development Support: Track training, certifications, and evaluation processes.Safety & Operations Support: Maintain compliance documentation, support OSHA reporting, and assist with tracking equipment and vendor information.General Office Support: Provide administrative assistance for scheduling, communications, and company events.QualificationsRequired:24 years of experience in an HR, payroll, or office administration roleKnowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulationsProficiency in Microsoft Office 365Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential informationPreferred:Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or related fieldSHRM or HRCI certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.)Experience in construction, skilled trades, or manufacturing industriesFamiliarity with HRIS or benefits platformsWhy Join Our Client?Work in a fast-growing organization that has doubled its workforce in just three yearsBe part of a phenomenal culture where executive leadership invests in employees professional growthGain exposure to all areas of HR with the potential to grow into higher-level positionsCompetitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional development
