Today, it holds the distinction of being the largest pet food manufacturing facility in the U.With utmost care, our dedicated team in Davenport produces, packages, and ships a wide range of our beloved brands including Dog Chow, Puppy Chow, Alpo, Beneful, Purina ONE, Cat Chow, Friskies, and Kit N Kaboodle.* This role is a Relief/Floater position and will be required to be available for all shifts, including overnights, weekends, and holidays; As a Production Supervisor, you'll coordinate all first line management functions regarding production planning, production output, equipment maintenance, management of people, quality, safety, and sanitation of the processing and departments. Directly supervise hourly production employees.* Be a catalyst for people development through mentoring, coaching, and performance management.* Manage the processing or packaging schedule to maximize output while minimizing costs including active participation in problem-solving.* Ensure products are produced in compliance with quality key check points and within "Good Manufacturing Practices."* Achieve high levels of asset intensity by reducing unplanned stops, speed loss, waste generation, and optimizing planned downtown performance.* Lead and coach integrated work groups to achieve results based on the factory's continuous improvement plan.* High School Diploma or GED* 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing, production, military, or related environment* 1+ years' leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, military, or related environment preferredNestlé offers performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401k with Company match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.
