Beacon Beahvioral Partners and NeuroPsych Wellness Center is currently seeking Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) and / or Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) to join our team. Were looking for clinicians licensed in Virginia who are passionate about serving a diverse population of children, adolescents, and adults, and who have experience providing evidence-based therapy for anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma disorders, substance use, and eating disorders. Ideal candidates can integrate CBT, DBT, and mindfulness into treatment, maintain a caseload of 3035 clients per week (in-person or telehealth).Who We Are NeuroPsych Wellness Center is a Fairfax City Psychiatric Clinic dedicated to providing quality care for children, teens, and adults. Dr. Alok Kumar, M.D., founded NeuroPsych Wellness Center, PC with the mission to provide individualized, effective, and empathetic evaluation and treatment for patients. We understand that the circumstances that often lead to seeking psychiatric help may be sensitive in nature. (including but not limited to) As an LCSW or LPC, you will maintain a caseload of 3035 clients per week, with flexibility for in-person and/or telehealth sessions. Youll provide high-quality, evidence-based care tailored to each clients unique needs. Responsibilities Essential duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to) Experienced in treating clients presenting with a range of issues such as relationship issues, depression, anxiety, panic disorder, adjustment disorder, and other mental health issues.Provide individual cognitive-behavioral therapy or Dialectical behavioral therapy to children, adolescents, and adults diagnosed with related issue.Collaborate with the patient (and family as applicable) to develop a treatment plan to address identified treatment goals and interventions in psychotherapy.Provide culturally appropriate, empirically based psychological interventions in individual and family modalities for psychological disorders including co-occurring substance use disorders.Provide health and behavior assessments and interventions to patients with health conditions.Timely and complete documentation and billing for services providedQualifications Active and unrestricted Virginia license as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor).Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.Physical Demands: This job requires employees to have a full range of physical capabilities, including the ability to handle and lift patients, demonstrate manual and finger dexterity, and maintain good eye-hand coordination. Employees must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift and carry items up to 40 lbs. Corrected vision and hearing within the normal range are also required.
