We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Part Time Closer to play a crucial role in driving sales, boosting sales while delivering an exceptional customer experience, operational excellence, and financial success. What we ask of you: Customer Experience: Demonstrate exceptional customer service and inspire our associates to deliver an outstanding customer experience. Store Management: Perform overall store management duties as needed, driving sales and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. Food Safety & Sanitation: Ensure high standards of food safety and sanitation in all areas of the store, in compliance with federal, state, local regulations, and Stop & Shop policies and procedures. Expense Management: Minimize store expenses through efficient use of supplies, proper equipment maintenance, and identifying cost-cutting opportunities. Backroom Maintenance: Oversee the organization and ongoing maintenance of the grocery backroom, promoting product rotation and enhancing associate productivity. Signage & Merchandising: Maintain the store's signage program, merchandise weekly distributions, seasonal products, and manage shelf stock and sale items. Team Support: Assist in delegating tasks and providing leadership, ensuring associates are motivated and working effectively. What you bring to the table: Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service and exceeding customer expectations while positively engaging with customers and associates Effective conflict resolution and delegation skills 1-3 years of demonstrated leadership experience and decision-making abilities Available to work flexible evening hours, including weekends and holidays Thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently, while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously Some college coursework or a degree preferred but not required.
