Property Manager – Family-Owned Portfolio (Sherman Oaks, CA)*****In Office/ Sherman Oaks, CA 91403 Job *****Full-time About the ***** We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactiveProperty Managerto oversee a portfolio of family-owned residential properties in Los Angeles. This is ahands-on, full-time roleideal for someone with a deep understanding of local rental laws — especiallyRSO (Rent Stabilization Ordinance)compliance — and a proven ability to manage both administrative responsibilities and on-site operations. You will be based primarily out of ourSherman Oaks office, with occasional travel to properties as needed (approximately 10% field work). Key ***** Ensure full compliance withLos Angeles RSOand all applicable tenant laws Manage day-to-day operations usingYardi(or similar software) — including work orders, tenant records, rent tracking, and documentation Handleaccounts receivable: collect rent, process payments, and manage tenant balances Draft, deliver, and track legally compliant notices, including rent increases and lease renewals Show vacant units to prospective tenants and manage the full leasing process Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for maintenance, repairs, and property improvements Maintain excellent communication with tenants and ensure timely resolution of issues Organize and maintain accurate records for all properties and tenants ***** Minimum 3+ years of experience inproperty management, preferably in the Los Angeles market Strong working knowledge ofRSO complianceand local housing regulations Proficiency inYardi, DoorLoop, or comparable property management software Excellent organizational and administrative skills Strong interpersonal and communication abilities — both written and verbal Proven experience managing multiple properties and coordinating with vendors Must havereliable transportationfor periodic site visits What We ***** Stable, long-term position in a well-establishedfamily office environment Autonomy and trust — opportunity to make a real impact across our property portfolio Supportive team, flexible structure, and growth potential Hybrid work schedule based inSherman OaksReady to take ownership of a diverse property portfolio and bring professionalism and care to our family’s real estate operations?
