With a team of highly skilled professionals, the Company strives to combine unique vision, market knowledge, and a keen ability to execute any rehabilitation or new construction real estate developments including section 42 low-income housing tax credit deals.Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Affordable Housing Leasing Manager to oversee the daily operations of our remote leasing team and assist theRegional Managerwith Asset Management oversight of a growing portfolio of 3rd party managed properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a highly efficient remote leasing team. They will also be expected to travel to properties across CA to manage on site leasing needs as necessary.Duties and Responsibilities: · Oversee the remote leasing and application processing team, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of applications, certifications, and recertifications. · Collaborate with finance, development, and operations departments to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency. · Generate and review reports on property status, operating performance, and compliance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. · Monitor and analyze the performance of the affordable housing portfolio, including financial performance, occupancy rates, and compliance with regulatory agreements. · Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in laws and performance requirements affecting the portfolio.Qualifications: · Minimum of 5 years of experience in Property Management, with a focus on affordable housing leasing · Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred. · Certification in Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) compliance from an accredited provider (e.g., Quadel, Novogradac) is preferred. · Willingness to travel to properties across California to address on site leasing needs · Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage and motivate a remote team effectively. · Proficiency in affordable housing finance, property management, and development. · Familiarity with fair housing laws, public subsidy programs, tax credit project management, certification, compliance and reporting requirements. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Ability to manage multiple priorities and workflows in a dynamic environment. · Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. · Bilingual (English/Spanish) verbal and written communication skills preferred. · Commitment to excellence and high standards of petencies: · Customer Service: Manages customer situations effectively and meets commitments. · Interpersonal Skills: Focuses on solving conflict and maintains confidentiality. · Oral and Written Communication: Communicates clearly and persuasively in various situations. · Organizational Support: Follows policies, supports organization goals, and respects diversity. · Professionalism: Approaches others tactfully, reacts well under pressure, and follows through on commitments. · Quality and Quantity: Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness while meeting productivity standards. · Adaptability: Adapts to changes and manages competing demands. · Dependability: Follows instructions, takes responsibility for own actions, and completes tasks on time.If you are a dynamic individual with a passion for driving operational excellence and possess the required qualifications, we invite you to apply for this challenging and rewarding opportunity.
