Senior Manager Manufacturing Operations (Milford)

BioTalent are partnered with a well known Life Science brand to seek a dynamic Senior Manager to lead Assembly Operations. An area where precision, labor intensity, and electromechanical expertise converge to meet global customer demand. In this high-impact role, youll oversee a team of approximately 100 employees across multiple shifts, driving performance in safety, quality, cost, and delivery. Youll be instrumental in shaping a culture of continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and technical capability development. What Youll Do: Champion a safe, high-awareness work environment with a goal of zero injuries. Lead cross-functional teams to improve first-pass yield and installation success. Drive lean transformation initiatives to reduce costs and boost efficiency. Ensure production plans are met through disciplined daily management and resource alignment. Collaborate with NPI teams to ensure smooth product transitions into production. Develop and execute cost improvement strategies aligned with business goals. Build technical capability and flexibility across the workforce through structured training. Lead root cause problem-solving and kaizen events to drive sustainable improvements. Manage departmental goals, talent development, and succession planning. What You Bring: Bachelors degree in a technical field (advanced degree preferred). 10+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing operations. Certified Six Sigma Green Belt; strong CI and safety focus. PMP certification and SAP proficiency are a plus. Deep understanding of operational KPIs and financial metrics. Familiarity with cGMP, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 13485:2016 standards. Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
