Job Title: Employment Defense Attorney Location: San Diego, CA ( hybrid) About the Opportunity: A respected defense firm is seeking a talented Labor & Employment Attorney to join its growing team. This is a hybrid position, offering the flexibility to work in San Diego while handling complex labor and employment defense matters. Responsibilities: Represent employers in labor and employment defense litigation, including wage & hour, discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and related claims. Handle all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and hearings. Provide counsel to clients on compliance, workplace policies, and risk management. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active California Bar license in good standing. Minimum 2 years of labor & employment litigation experience (defense preferred). Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $170,000 $220,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
