Project Manager Mechanical / Controls Construction Sacramento, CA Overview Working with a large building controls/automations contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in mechanical or controls construction projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of proven project management experience, excellent financial acumen, and the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously in the Sacramento region. Candidates with healthcare construction experience will be given priority. Responsibilities Manage 1015 active projects simultaneously, averaging $34M in total annual work volume Lead all phases of project management including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution Oversee mechanical and/or controls construction projects, with a majority of projects in the healthcare sector Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met Monitor project costs, forecasts, and schedules while maintaining high-quality standards Ensure compliance with safety requirements, building codes, and project specifications Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight to field staff and support teams Deliver successful outcomes that meet both client and company objectives Qualifications 5+ years of Project Management experience in mechanical or controls construction Strong background in managing multi-project portfolios within commercial and healthcare environments Healthcare construction experience is a plus Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to work independently while managing multiple stakeholders Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $130,000 Annual performance bonus: 1525% of base salary Company vehicle and gas card provided Full benefits package Relocation assistance available
