Claims Coordinator Construction Risk & Claims Salary: $90,000 to $100,000 annually Position Summary Were seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Claims Coordinator to manage external claims related to construction operations. This role focuses on auto/truck damage, property incidents, and third-party liability not medical or workers comp-heavy cases. Youll work closely with legal teams, field staff, and insurance carriers to investigate and resolve claims efficiently. Key Responsibilities Investigate and manage auto/truck claims (e.g., equipment collisions, rock-related windshield damage, third-party property incidents). Coordinate with legal counsel to assess claim validity, gather evidence, and support litigation or settlements. Act as the primary liaison between field teams, insurance carriers, legal representatives, and third-party claimants. Maintain thorough documentation of incidents, investigations, and resolutions. Analyze claim trends and recommend preventative strategies to reduce future risk. Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and insurance regulations. Provide occasional backup support for workers comp or medical claims. Qualifications 35+ years of experience in claims coordination, risk management, or legal supportpreferably in the construction industry . Strong knowledge of auto liability, property damage, and third-party claims processes. Experience collaborating with legal teams or insurance adjusters on investigations and settlements. Excellent communication, negotiation, and documentation skills. Proficiency in claims tracking systems, Microsoft Office, and HRIS platforms.
