JOB DESCRIPTION: Administrative Assistant JENDOCO CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION, a Commercial General Contractor in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is seeking a Full-Time Administrative Assistant for work at our office in the East End of Pittsburgh. Typical duties include, but are not limited to: Working with project managers in the timely creation, management, and distribution of physical and electronic documents such as: -Subcontractor agreements -Material submittals -Requests for Information -Project Meeting Minutes -Equipment requests -Project Reporting -Closeout Documents Vendor/Subcontractor interaction and communication Coordination with Accounting Collection and logging receipt of subcontractor paperwork: -Insurance certificates -Certified payroll -Minority reporting -Waivers -Steel certification -LEED submission paperwork Associated administration such as: -Answering phones -Sorting mail -Filing -Data entry -Copy/scanning -Scheduling/Coordinating Meetings Assisting company Safety Director with Administrative duties. -Coordinating accident/workers compensation claims SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience working as an administrative assistant in the construction industry. Must have own transportation. Ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, professional in appearance, punctual, customer-oriented, excellent writing and verbal communication, organized, close attention to detail, manage multiple tasks, time-management and problem-solving skills and will maintain client and company confidentiality. Intrapersonal skills are essential, as are the abilities to collaborate and work within a project team. Computer skills including Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) -Helpful but not required: ProjectSight, Bluebeam, Procore, Viewpoint/Spectrum Experience with the following office machines: printer, copier, scanner, fax machine, postage machine, large format plotter (not necessary, but helpful). Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and comply with all local, State and company pandemic policies. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Salary will be commensurate with experience and knowledge. Benefits offered include vacation, paid time off, health insurance, and 401K/Profit Sharing. Flexible working hours. Employees can pick from 3 different M-F work schedules and pick from hour to 1 hour lunch. Lunch provided on Thursdays. Friday work from home option. Full kitchen and outside patio for breaks.
