Master Mechanic - Diesel & CNG Commercial Trucks Night ...

We are a leader in the commercial transportation industry, specializing in the operation and maintenance of a diverse fleet of Class 7 and 8 CMVs. Our vehicles are powered by both diesel and compressed natural gas (CNG), supporting sustainability and performance. We're seeking a highly skilled Master Mechanic to join our team and ensure the safety, reliability, and compliance of our fleet. *As a Master Mechanic, you will be responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of diesel- and CNG-powered heavy-duty trucks. You will be the go-to technical expert for complex mechanical issues and will lead by example in maintaining high standards of safety and performance. *Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, and suspension systems on diesel and CNG commercial trucks · Perform DOT inspections and ensure all vehicles comply with federal and state safety regulations · Utilize diagnostic tools and OEM software for troubleshooting · Conduct preventative maintenance and detailed inspections · Oversee junior technicians and provide technical mentorship and training · Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements · Coordinate with fleet managers and operations for scheduling and prioritization of repairs · Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in heavy-duty truck maintenance and repair · CDL (Class A or B) preferred · Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electronic diagnostic software · High school diploma or GED; technical school or vocational training is a plus · Competitive pay with overtime opportunities · Health, dental, and vision insurance · Company paid life insurance · Paid time off and holidays · Career growth opportunities *Competitive ($40+ along with shift differential), Based on Experience + Benefits Job Type: Full-time 00 per hour Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Life insurance * 10 hour shift * Night shift * Overtime * Weekends as needed
