MML Hospitality is seeking a dynamic and passionate Assistant General Manager to join the leadership team at The Driskill Bar and Grill. This role is key in supporting the General Manager, mentoring staff, and ensuring a seamless guest experience. The Assistant General Manager will help guide daily operations, drive financial performance, and foster a culture of hospitality that reflects MML’s standards of excellence. Recruit, train, and mentor FOH staff, providing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated, professional team. Lead by example on the floor, setting the tone for warm, attentive hospitality and delivering a welcoming dining experience for every guest. Manage guest flow, reservations, and seating to optimize service and capacity, while resolving inquiries or concerns with care and professionalism. Uphold MML standards through consistent implementation of systems and SOPs, maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment. Collaborate with the culinary and events teams to ensure seamless FOH/BOH coordination, memorable experiences, and successful events.  Assist with scheduling, payroll, and labor management to maintain operational efficiency. Support the GM in monitoring sales, labor, and cost control reports, identifying opportunities to maximize revenue and profitability. Requirements Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the restaurant industry. In-depth food and beverage operations knowledge, including service techniques and product knowledge. Proficient in managing inventory, cost control, and analyzing sales data. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the restaurant industry. Certified in Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission + Texas Food Management Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, staff, and management. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
