Pitruco started as a wood-fired pizza trailer serving center city over 13 years ago. We were quickly recognized for excellence as a food truck and pizza shop, and today we are still serving the streets of Philadelphia and beyond, now with two locations: a food truck that serves 4 different neighborhoods of Philadelphia throughout the week and regional catering on the weekends, and a permanent location open daily in University City inside Franklin's Table food hall. We focus on doing one thing and doing it really well, and our pizzas are a style all of their own: crisp, well-charred pies topped with the best ingredients that take inspiration from the world of Neapolitan pizza but are not strictly traditional. We sweat the details, and take pride in the customer service experience we provide: informed, friendly, helpful and prioritizing customer satisfaction above all else. We are currently hiring pizza makers at both locations. You will work closely with a small team of pizza cooks. Experience with wood-fired ovens and Neapolitan-style pizza is strongly preferred. Here is a bit more about what we are looking for: SKILLS and EXPERIENCE: -The ideal candidate will have worked for at least two years cooking in a high-volume foodservice setting, ideally in pizza restaurants -We are a very high-volume and high-paced environment, so it is vital that all team members work with a natural sense of urgency -The ideal candidate is intrinsically organized and can multi-task well, handling the onslaught of in-person, online and phone orders that can arrive simultaneously -Most important, we are looking for kind, friendly team members who work well with our small crew COMMUTING and AVAILABILITY -Must have evening and weekend availability
