(FPGA) Field-Programmable Gate Arrays Engineer

Senior Engineer to design and implement high-performance digital systems using VHDL. This role involves FPGA-based design, validation, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead design, development, and optimization of digital circuits/systems using VHDL. Program in VHDL to develop firmware which is used in the hardware design process Verify and validate designs through simulations and testing. Collaborate with architects, hardware, and software teams to define requirements and solutions. Debug and optimize FPGA hardware/software interactions. Document design processes and results. Plan and manage development schedules and resources. Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices. Drive continuous improvement of methods, tools, and technologies. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering. 8–15 years of digital design experience with FPGA projects. Experience developing firmware Proficiency in VHDL and FPGA design tools (Xilinx, Altera). Experience with PCIe, Ethernet (1G/10G), TSN, and system-level design/verification. Strong knowledge of FPGA architectures, high-speed design, and DO-254 certification processes. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Experience with Verilog, UVM, and embedded C/C++ designs is preferred
