Charge Master Analyst

This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position located in San Diego. Must be local or willing to relocate to San Diego. The Chargemaster Analyst maintains the Scripps Health facility chargemasters within applicable coding guidelines and according to Scripps policies and procedures. Responsibilities include: Providing reimbursement analysis Assisting with bill problem resolution Providing coverage guidelines for billable services Supporting the Manager of Chargemaster Monitoring and maintaining hospital departmental chargemasters to ensure billing accuracy Ensuring proper bundling or unbundling of charges for maximum reimbursement Reviewing Medicare and other third-party payor bulletins for billing requirements Assisting Patient Financial Services in resolving billing problems Developing reports for reimbursement analysis and contract evaluations Providing analytical support to facility Fiscal Directors and financial analysts #LI-JS1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
