Accounting Senior Manager

OverviewPosition: Senior Manager of Cost AccountingLocation: Fully remote-est hoursDuration: 1 year + extensionsClient: BiotechThis role reports to the Director of Global Accounting Operations.ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership to the team to execute on all accounting and reporting activities, related to inventory, reserves, and transfer pricing for Client’s manufacturing network, and to ensure US GAAP and other statutory reporting compliance in the related areas.Partner with groups, such as FP&A, Supply Chain, Corporate Tax, Disbursements, and I.S. to ensure proper accounting of inventory. This includes site support.Work with accounting management regarding proper application of US GAAP and company policies and procedures.Serve as lead contact for Corporate External Reporting, Corporate Audit, External Auditors, and Tax Compliance to provide audit/reporting support and analysis.Lead ERP and automation (including Robotics Process Automation) implementations related to Cost & Operations Accounting to ensure proper design, documentation, testing, and training of personnel.Basic QualificationsDoctorate degree AND 2 years of finance or technical accounting experienceORMaster’s degree AND 6 years of finance or technical accounting experienceORBachelor’s degree OR AND 8 years of finance or technical accounting experienceAND2 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resourcesPreferred QualificationsCertified Public Accountant (CPA) or MBAAudit or Big 4 Public Accounting experienceExcellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skillsStrong technical US GAAP knowledge in the area of InventoryStrong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills and be able to bridge culture differencesDetail oriented; strong business analytical skillsAbility to take initiative and work with a minimum level of direction in a fast paced environmentAbility to lead projects, manage staff and work with cross-functional teamsTeam/Contractor supervision experienceProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPointExperience working with the general ledger system (SAP and S4 HANA)Industry experienceSeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeContractJob functionAccounting/Auditing and FinanceIndustriesPharmaceutical Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
