Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$250,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yrPosition Summary:This is a strategic finance leadership role responsible for building the FP&A function from the ground up and serving as a key business partner to the CFO and executive team. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance management while supporting capital planning, pricing strategy, and systems enablement. The role requires a hands-on leader with deep manufacturing finance experience who can operate in a dynamic environment and drive change with humility, grit, and cross-functional influence.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Financial LeadershipLead the enterprise-wide planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes aligned with corporate strategy.Serve as a strategic advisor to the CFO and executive leadership, providing forward-looking insights and scenario planning.Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain to align financial goals with business strategy.Performance Management & AnalyticsDevelop and manage KPIs and dashboards to track financial and operational performance.Drive margin analysis, product/channel profitability, and customer-level economics to optimize mix and growth decisions.Lead monthly/quarterly business reviews with actionable insights on variances vs. budget/forecast.Capital Allocation & Investment SupportEvaluate capital projects, pricing strategies, and investment initiatives with ROI analysis and business case modelingProvide financial decision support across areas such as product portfolio planning, customer profitability, and capacity expansionPartner with corporate development and strategy teams on due diligence and integration modeling.Support the CFO with ad hoc analysis tied to resource allocation, risk mitigation, and strategic prioritiesTeam Development & Capability BuildingBuild, lead, and mentor a high-performing FP&A team; foster a culture of financial discipline and business partnership.Establish best-in-class planning tools, processes, and reporting frameworks to improve agility and decision-making.Forecasting, Modeling & Decision SupportLead dynamic forecasting, rolling outlooks, and long-range strategic planning models.Support pricing strategy, cost optimization initiatives, and operational trade-offs with scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis.Support early-stage ERP and reporting system upgrades and lay groundwork for future analytics enablementStakeholder Communication & Executive ReportingPrepare and present consolidated financial reports and key insights for the CFO, CEO, and Board of Directors.Translate complex data into clear, actionable narratives.Serve as a trusted business partner across departments, bringing patience, humility, and strategic insight to financial conversationsThe Ideal CandidateEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required. MBA, Master’s degree, CFA, CMA, CPA, or Data Analytics certification is desirable.10+ years of progressive Finance or FP&A experience, including at least 5 years in leadership roles (e.g., Director level or above), within CPG/Food/vertically integrated manufacturing companies.Proven success building FP&A capabilities in dynamic, high-growth environmentsExperience leading or supporting ERP/system transformations or implementing BI tools a plus.Experience supporting business development initiatives and expanding customer baseExperience leading risk management efforts, including futures, hedging, etc. is a bonus.Cultural FitEntrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently and flexiblyComfortable leading change and working through ambiguityHands-on coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to build and lead a high-performing FP&A function.Prior experience in a family-owned business environment is highly valuedIf you're a strategic finance leader ready to build an FP&A function from the ground up and make a lasting impact in a values-driven manufacturing business, we’d love to hear from you.
