OverviewThe Branch Manager SAFE Act is a senior management professional responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees, growing sales and the client base in coordination with the consumer sales team. The overall objective of this role is to lead a team to grow sales, build customer loyalty, and recommend the development of business strategies or initiatives. This role may include management of activities by external organizations and direct management of individuals and sales teams.ResponsibilitiesDevelop sales plans and drive individual production goals, including building referral networks and relationships with internal partners and external contactsCreate an environment through activity-based coaching and performance development; implement/execute coaching plans to develop employees/' skill sets to achieve personal/branch goalsDevelop and execute integrated sales, relationship, and credit strategies aligned with the Retail Bank/'s priorities; execute the business plan to achieve goals in all business categoriesSupport portfolio growth by identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and increase client acquisition; ensure clients receive optimal service and monitor/adhere to operational controlsCollaborate with branch partners to achieve goals, build customer relationships, and deliver customer serviceLeverage workforce planning tools to optimize branch staffing and set expectations for branch staff, fostering teamwork to achieve business goalsCoordinate with segment partners, Assistant Manager, and Division Operations to drive sales and outbound activities, including representing Citi and building community partnershipsConduct daily proof processes to ensure adherence to operational requirements; investigate controllable losses; provide coaching and manage performance on decisions usedLead hiring, coordinate performance management, compensation, communication, and employee evaluation of branch staffPlan, budget, and contribute to policy formulation and short-term resource planningAssess risk in business decisions, safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets by driving compliance with laws and regulations, following policy, applying ethical judgment, escalating and reporting control issues, and supervising and holding others accountable to standardsQualifications6-10 years of relevant experience requiredPrevious experience in banking or financial industry preferredSales management experience preferredRegistered or willing to register as mortgage loan originator with Nationwide Mortgage LicensingObtain or willing to obtain unique identifier from RegistryStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytic skillsEducationBachelor/'s Degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster/'s degree preferredThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
