OverviewJoin to apply for the National Sales Director - Digital Retail role at S&P Global.The Role: National Sales Director – Digital Retail. S&P Global Mobility and Market Scan Partnership. We are looking for a seasoned Director of National Digital Retail Sales to develop, orchestrate and deliver go-to-market program strategies to increase the adoption of Market Scan products in the US automotive industry. This highly visible role will work with the executive teams of S&P Global Mobility and Market Scan to build Digital Retail partnerships, strengthen our value proposition, create broader market awareness, provide a critical voice into our robust product roadmap, and generate new business opportunities.ResponsibilitiesDeliver revenue objectives associated with Market Scan sales and retention.Promote Market Scan and S&P Global Mobility adoption with Digital Retail accounts.Demonstrate product technology expertise by demoing Market Scan products for prospective clients.Oversee product and technical integration after the sale and ensure process integration post-sale.Support dealer rollout by working closely with Digital Retail companies.Support product pilots with partners on pilot scope, requirements, and launch.Daily management of contract terms and conditions.Develop and maintain relationships with designated accounts, including automotive OEMs, digital retail startups, DMS providers, CRM companies, dealership groups, and major online retailers.Develops, tracks, and reports business management statistics and key performance indicators.Understand and utilize a strategic selling process and develop account plans for assigned accounts.Strategy RequirementsDevelops and executes strategic business plans aligned with the Company’s objectives.Understand market dynamics affecting prospect/client accounts; assess opportunities to support new product development by providing customer feedback to Product Managers.Keeps current with product, industry, and competitive knowledge.Provide input on new product development (voice of the customer) and articulate the S&P Global Mobility and Market Scan value proposition.What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree or higher in sales, marketing, or business with at least 10 years of B2B direct consultative selling, account management, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 10 years in automotive digital retail or related experience.Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including nationwide travel.Extensive and progressive experience in software sales or within automotive.Proven track record with superior business acumen, problem-solving skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Ability to manage multiple relationships in a matrixed environment and drive engagement and revenue goals.Ability to cultivate C-suite relationships and strong communication and presentation dependent work style with strong execution, data-driven decision making, and detail orientation.Proven ability to lead initiatives and act as a change agent; experience developing partner go-to-market plans.Proficient understanding of value proposition and sales process; proactive in seeking feedback and resolving issues.Demonstrated ability to develop customer relationships and adapt to change quickly.Travel note: This role requires up to 50% travel nationally. Candidate can live and work remotely and must be able to travel to our Detroit, MI office and prospect/client account locations to support sales and marketing initiatives regularly.
