Software Engineer - Applied ML - Connected Experiences San Diego, California, United States Description As a Software Engineer on the Headphone and Accessories team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing cutting-edge technologies for next-generation headphones and accessories. Working within a small, specialized team, you will contribute to innovative features for devices such as AirPods, impacting millions of users worldwide. Your work will involve Connectivity, AI/ML, Audio Engineering, Computer Vision, and other areas, enabling the creation of unique and impactful end-to-end features. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of industry experience or Master's degree preferred. Experience in software development. Good understanding of Operating Systems concepts. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Machine Learning or AI. Experience with Computer Vision. Experience with Audio Systems Engineering. Experience with Multimodal Machine Learning. Experience with Embedded Firmware development. Proficiency in C, C++, and/or Python programming languages. Strong team collaboration skills. Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently. Experience presenting to leadership and communicating complex information effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. At Apple, compensation includes base pay within a range, with potential for growth. The base pay range for this role is $171,600 to $258,100, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
