ABOUT THE JOBWe are seeking a highly motivated Senior Buyer to join our Indirect Procurement team. In this role, you will support procurement activities for key programs, manage supplier relationships, and ensure on-time delivery of critical materials and services. Gain hands-on experience in procurement and supply chain operations.Fast-Paced Environment: Work on cutting-edge technology with a dynamic, innovative team.Impactful Work: Support critical programs that make a difference in national security.WHAT YOU’LL DOPurchase Order Management: Create, issue, and manage purchase orders to meet production and program needs.Supplier Coordination: Maintain relationships with suppliers, monitor performance, and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, and pricing.Problem Solving: Quickly resolve supply chain disruptions, delivery delays, and quality issues to keep projects on track.Order Tracking: Monitor and expedite orders to meet deadlines and production schedules.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (Finance, IT, HR, Legal, Facilities, etc.) and program teams to align procurement with company goals.Data & Process Management: Maintain accurate records, track procurement KPIs, and identify opportunities to streamline processes.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field5+ years of supply chain experience, including technical procurementAbility to read technical drawings and blueprintsAbility to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CAPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSStrong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent communication and negotiation abilitiesProficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plusAnalytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skillsUS Salary Range$108,000 — $162,000 USDA note on compensation and benefits: The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
