OverviewChemours is seeking an Operations Vice President to lead the Thermal and Specialized Solutions (TSS) global manufacturing operations. This role will be based at the Corporate Headquarters in Wilmington, DE or remote in the US with expected travel, and reports to the President of TSS. The TSS business includes multiple plants and global facilities and aims to deliver safety, environmental performance, quality, cost, uptime, and production to plan through strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.ResponsibilitiesEnsure safe operation and regulatory compliance across locations; foster community engagement.Develop and execute long-term operations and manufacturing strategies aligned to the TSS and Chemours Manufacturing Strategies.Oversee overall operations of multiple global facilities, including production, maintenance, technology, and other units / spire and direct manufacturing site leadership to deliver operational excellence, implementing continuous improvements to increase productivity, reliability, capacity and profitability, and support strategic growth.Execute asset care and responsible care programs and monitor consistent application.Manage costs to deliver competitive targets and maximize value for key stakeholders.Lead and develop diverse, inclusive teams and foster a collaborative work environment.Build strong cross-functional relationships with supply chain, capital projects, commercial, technology, and engineering.Understand and optimize business value drivers to achieve results.Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Manage capital budgets to meet business needs and ensure on-time, on-budget completion of capital projects.Required qualifications15+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing, chemistry / chemical engineering, or related field with leadership in global manufacturing in a high-hazard environment.Experience with facilities governed by OSHA 1910.119 Process Safety Management, especially Highly Hazardous Chemical manufacturing.Strong safety and environmental compliance focus with a proven safety culture record.Track record in driving productivity, continuous improvement, and best-practice implementation in challenging environments.Experience with manufacturing transformation and change leadership.Ability to motivate and engage employees with a clear vision and inclusive leadership.Strong financial and business acumen; ability to manage complex budgets and communicate across all levels of the organization.Ability to develop relationships across shop floor to C-suite and to act as a change agent for innovation.Experience in designing and building a diverse, inclusive organization aligned to the company vision.Preferred qualificationsExperience in the chemical industry.Experience in fluorine-based manufacturing.BenefitsCompetitive compensationComprehensive benefits packages401(k) matchEmployee stock purchase programTuition reimbursementCommuter benefitsLearning and development opportunitiesStrong inclusion and diversity initiativesCompany-paid volunteer dayCandidates must be able to perform all duties listed with or without accommodation. Chemours Level : 32. Annual bonus target : 36%. Annual stock amount : 115,000.00 USD. This range is a guideline based on primary location and may not reflect total compensation.
