Program Director/Healthcare Operations ManagerHealogics is the largest provider of advanced wound care services in the United States, treating more than 300,000 chronic wound patients annually across over 600 sites. The company focuses on delivering differentiated, quality outcomes and supports employees in meaningful work.The Program Director or Program Manager is responsible for the management and strategic growth of the Wound Care Program for the assigned area. This includes oversight of the Wound Care Center, day-to-day center operations, staff management, financial management, quality/performance improvement, and community education. The role also involves maintaining collaborative relationships within and outside the hospital and building effective working relationships between Healogics and the hospital.All Healogics employees must perform their job responsibilities according to Healogics policies, hospital policies, accrediting organizations, federal and state regulations, and CMS guidelines, as applicable.Essential Functions / ResponsibilitiesManages the Center’s Operations (20%): oversee day-to-day management of outpatient clinic(s) and wound continuum programs; assess clinic flows and implement improvements; ensure resources, supplies, equipment and services; facilitate information flow and communication; supervise clinical and non-clinical staff; collaborate with other health care providers and Medical Director; manage direct reports with HR support (interviewing, hiring, coaching, performance reviews).Performs Financial Management (10%): manage revenue cycle for Healogics and hospital partner; stay current with reimbursement changes; review financial reports and trends; track ancillary revenues; control costs through labor and supply management; present financial results to hospital leadership.Manages Community Education / Marketing (40%): develop and execute strategic marketing plans with hospital and marketing departments; identify target referral sources; maintain physician practice lists; visit physician practices to raise awareness and document interactions in CRM; communicate goals and referral development information with hospital executives.Manages Quality / Performance Improvement (10%): implement and manage a continuous Performance Improvement Program; participate in hospital committees; monitor patient and customer satisfaction; ensure compliance and promote reporting of concerns.Manages Relationships (15%): maintain strong relationships with hospital client and leadership; develop relationships with physicians and staff; participate in management meetings and hospital communications; perform other duties as required.Required Education, Experience and CredentialsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field preferred with 1 year of marketing/community education in healthcare or clinical operations experience; or Associate’s degree with 2+ years of experience; or High School Diploma with 4+ years of experience. Management experience preferred.Required Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of regulatory/accrediting requirements for healthcare organizationsProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, including group presentation skillsStrong analytical and quantitative skills; customer service and follow-up skillsOrganizational, time management, and multi-tasking abilitiesLeadership, teaching, relationship-building and motivational skillsBudget and strategic planning skillsAbility to travel overnightPhysical DemandsStationary work for extended periods; computer use; occasional lifting up to 20 pounds; travel as neededWork EnvironmentNormal office environment; indoors; patient care environment; exposure to hazards and equipmentThe salary for this position generally ranges between $102,000.00-$138,000.00 annually.
