The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and components, with a proven track record in diagnosing and resolving complex HVAC issues. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.Location:Mountain View, CAType:Full-time, On-siteSchedule:Day shiftPay Rate:$59.13/hrKey Responsibilities:Demonstrate understanding of HVAC principles, system components, electrical wiring, and refrigerant handling.Diagnose and repair HVAC malfunctions, identify faulty parts, and restore functionality.Analyze system issues using BAS, blueprints, schematics, pressure readings, airflow, and electrical diagrams.Explain HVAC issues to occupants, discuss maintenance, and answer questions.Perform preventive maintenance on HVACR and chiller systems, including mobilization of tools and materials.Support co-workers, contractors, vendors, project managers, and engineers as needed.Ensure work adheres to established standards and quality practices.Assist other trades when necessary.Troubleshoot equipment to determine problems and execute repairs efficiently.Perform other duties as assigned.Required Skills and Experience:5+ years of Skilled Trades experience5+ years working with HVAC and refrigeration systemsEPA 608 Universal CertificationValid driver's licenseHigh School diploma or GEDKnowledge of building equipmentStrong communication skillsAbility to interpret drawings, work orders, sketches, and manualsPhysical Requirements:Prolonged standing and walkingBending, squatting, and working in uncomfortable positionsWorking on ladders or scaffoldingHeavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.)Ability to work in emergency conditionsIf you are passionate about HVAC engineering and meet these skills and experience, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position in Mountain View, CA.Estimated Compensation:$122,990 per year.
