OverviewAmlaw 100 Firm Transportation Litigation Associate - HybridBase pay range: $130,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr. This position offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement.The PositionWe are seeking a proactive and highly skilled Transportation Litigation Senior Associate or Of Counsel to work on our firm’s representation of a large international logistics services provider. The ideal candidate will have a strong background handling litigation matters, specifically within the transportation sector and understand any applicable underlying regulations. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging cases and be at the forefront of litigating emerging legal issues, with talented colleagues throughout the country, and provide sound counsel to our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesProactively manage a litigation caseload, helping oversee cases from beginning to endConduct legal research and analysis related to transportation laws, regulations, and legal standardsDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other legal documentsAttend court hearings, depositions, and mediationsNegotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients, demonstrating strong advocacy and negotiation skillsCollaborate effectively with colleagues across departments and offices, contributing to a cohesive and supportive team environmentDraft case analysis reports to client stakeholders with an eye towards developing proactive resolution strategiesQualificationsJD from an ABA accredited law schoolAdmitted to practice in the state of Pennsylvania3+ years of general casualty litigation experienceTrial experience preferredTransportation and logistics, trucking, and related regulatory experience preferredExperience with emerging e-commerce / gig economy legal issues preferred, but not requiredDeposition and motion practice experience requiredSuperior analytical skillsStrong written and oral communication skillsSophisticated technical skills necessaryLocation: Philadelphia Office.
