This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced team that plays a key role in the overall success of our organization through technology enablement. You’ll play a critical part in driving our technology vision forward and ensuring that we execute across multiple initiatives.This is a senior full-stack software engineering role. You’ll work closely day-to-day with other engineers, designers, and PMs to plan, design, build, and ship high quality software.ResponsibilitiesDesigning and implementing reliable web applications and APIs independentlyWriting high quality and testable code with quality test coverage and reviewing the work of your peersParticipating in architecture and technical decisions with strong critical thinkingUsing software engineering pipeline tools (CI/CD, unit testing, manual testing, etc.)Researching and developing new technologies and developing proofs of conceptAbout YouThe essentialsAt least 7 years of experience, preferably working as part of a teamExperience with deploying containerized services to cloud computing platforms like AWS or Google CloudFamiliarity with relational database systems like PostgreSQL or MySQLProven track record of designing, building, delivering, and maintaining critical web-based softwareYou love working in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentExtremely organized, detail-oriented, and thorough in every undertakingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBS/MS CS/CE or equivalent experience#LI-hybridAt Monks, we believe in fostering an environment where a diversity of perspectives can thrive.
