Software Engineering Manager

OverviewInsight Global is seeking a Software Engineering Manager based in Chanhassen, MN going into the office 4 days a week (1 day remote). In this role, you will collaborate with the Director of Manufacturing Software Engineering and be responsible for a team of software engineers. The Manufacturing Software and Data Support team provides a critical capability to the manufacturing business and supports more than $1B in annual revenue.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage software engineers and the Manufacturing Software and Data Support team.Collaborate with the Director of Manufacturing Software Engineering to align on strategy and execution.Ensure delivery of software and data support that enable manufacturing operations and revenue objectives.Provide technical leadership across projects, including design, architecture, and code quality.Drive software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and continuous improvement.Mentor and develop team members, fostering growth and performance.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or similar.Demonstrated success with people and technical leadership.Experience managing software and/or systems development projects.Software Processes (SDLC) and process improvement.Minimum eight (8) or more years of related experience.Familiarity with the following is advantageous for leading a multidimensional software and infrastructure team: Software languages (C#, VB6, ) and API-backed architectures.Data management and reporting.AI development tools such as tegration and code-based unit testing tools.Operational metrics and alerting tools.Microsoft and Linux server administration (including Docker).General Oracle knowledge.Manufacturing Operations.BenefitsMedical insuranceVision insurance401(k)Get notified about new Software Engineering Manager jobs in Chanhassen, MN. #J-18808-Ljbffr
