This is more than a call to join us, it’s an invitation to be part of a visionary journey and grow with us as we scale.Position DescriptionResponsible for managing the Company’s accounts payable operations, monitoring and analyzing transactions in the general ledger structure to ensure all standard accounting principles are in order. This position ensures the accurate and timely processing of all related Company financial information associated with accounts payable, following standard accounting principles and best practices, and ensures all accounting policies and processes are understood and applied in alignment with Company policies, procedures, objectives and regulations.Responsibilities (Day in the Life)Contributes to strategic planning for accounts payable operations and ensures compliance with all federal and state regulations. Maintains confidentiality of financial information deemed sensitive or proprietary.Act as subject matter expert in accounts payable operations; advise internal and external customers as needed. Manage and communicate key metrics on accounts payable terface with suppliers, service providers, vendors, project management and procurement teams to address inquiries or issues. Maintain key vendor relationships and correspondence.Review and input on accounts payable month-end and year-end closing tasks, including accruals and reconciliations. Prepare and distribute ad hoc reports as required.Understand the sales and use tax process as it relates to accounts payable; ensure accurate preparation and filing of all applicable state sales tax returns.Support internal and external audits and prepare audit files/documentation.Coordinate problem-solving discussions to address day-to-day issues with accounting systems, staff, and workflow. Create and update processes/tools to improve accounts payable operations and efficiency.Provide high-quality hiring, mentoring, and training to staff and colleagues. Coach employees and provide regular performance feedback.Cultivate strong working relationships with internal and external customers reflecting the Company’s core values and meet or exceed customer expectations.Make decisions in a safe and attentive manner to ensure safety and health of self and others.Utilize LEAN concepts or other continuous improvement methodologies to optimize operations and processes.Promote and model the Company mission, vision and values through ethical practices and DEI commitment, delivering high-quality services to clients, subcontractors, coworkers, suppliers, and the public.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field. CPA Certification preferred.Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in the construction industry. Minimum 2 years of experience directly managing people.Experience with computerized accounting systems and software.Experience handling confidential information with integrity and dependability.Experience establishing budgets and negotiating with external vendors.Strong analytical and mathematical skills; ability to read and interpret financial documents; solid business acumen and experience collaborating with senior leaders in a high-growth, process-oriented environment.Excellent verbal and written communication, listening, conflict management and persuasion skills; ability to influence at all levels, including senior management.Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and process orientation; initiative and sensitivity in implementing solutions.Proven ability to hire, coach, mentor, and develop employees to build high-performing teams.Strong leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse teams.SalarySalary Range: $97,800 - $125,900 annually, based on experience and qualifications.BenefitsArchKey Solutions offers competitive health insurance options (medical, dental, and vision), a 401(k) plan with employer match, paid time off and holidays, wellness programs, professional development opportunities, tuition reimbursement, and employee assistance programs.
