Join to apply for the GRC Analyst (US) role at WiseTech GlobalThe OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Senior Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Analyst with expertise in managing acquisitions, integrating them into the company’s operations, and responding to customer security questionnaires. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of direct GRC experience and a proven track record of assimilating newly acquired entities into existing business operations.The role requires a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, risk management, and strategic thinking to ensure smooth and efficient integration processes. The GRC Analyst will help enhance WiseTech Global’s GRC posture and maintain regulatory compliance. The role involves collaboration with technical security teams; the candidate should have a solid background in IT or cybersecurity (e.g., networking, system administration, or security operations) along with recent GRC experience. While we offer substantial remote work flexibility, the ideal candidate will be based within a commutable distance of Chicago or Chapel Hill.Key ResponsibilitiesAcquisition Assessment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the GRC landscape of newly acquired companies, identify gaps and alignment tegration Planning: Develop comprehensive integration plans aligned with the company’s GRC strategy.Risk Management: Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with integration processes, in collaboration with risk management teams.Policy and Procedure Harmonization: Harmonize policies, procedures, and controls between existing practices and those of acquired munication and Stakeholder Management: Communicate integration plans and progress with key stakeholders.Reporting and Documentation: Maintain documentation of integration activities and generate reports for senior management.Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and drive enhancements to the integration process.Customer Security Questionnaire Support: Work with teams to ensure accurate responses to customer security questionnaires.Foundational IT/Cybersecurity knowledge: Experience in networking, system administration, or security operations is advantageous.Qualifications and Desired Experience5+ years of hands-on experience in GRC, preferably with a focus on acquisition integration.Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and risk management frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 1/2, GDPR, privacy frameworks).Proficiency with information security tools, techniques, and controls.Experience with metrics and KPIs to measure and track information security risk.Ability to develop policies, standards, and guidelines.ISO 27001:2022 Lead Implementer and lead auditor certifications are a plus.CISA, CISM, CISSP, or CRISC certifications are desirable.Candidate CharacteristicsExceptional communication and interpersonal skills; analytical mindset for risk assessment and mitigation.Good project management skills with ISMS and control implementation experience.Knowledge of GRC software tools and technology.Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables aligned with business and compliance objectives.Why Join WiseTech GlobalWiseTech Global offers opportunities to excel and contribute to transforming global trade through innovation.
