Join us at Andersen, and together, let's write the story of your success!The RoleWe are seeking a Senior Manager to lead technology-enabled transformation across the finance and tax functions, with a focus on building and operationalizing modern data platforms, engineering AI-driven solutions, and embedding governance across digital finance ecosystems. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking technologist with a strong grounding in tax and finance operations who can architect, implement, and scale digital products that streamline processes, improve compliance, and deliver strategic value. The role will lead cross-functional delivery teams in modernizing finance and tax through the design of digital architectures, enabling data platform engineering and DevOps capabilities, managing IT risk and controls, and orchestrating third-party vendor ecosystems for tools such as finance and tax data lakes, applications, workflow platforms, and emerging AI technologies.ResponsibilitiesLead the design and implementation of data platforms supporting tax and finance automation, including architecture, ETL/ELT pipelines, and DevOps best practices.Define and operationalize roadmaps that align to enterprise data and transformation strategies, with milestones for AI enablement and platform scalability.Oversee evaluation, selection, and integration of digital tax and finance solutions (e.g., RPA, AI/ML platforms, data lakes).Assess, identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement and business integration.Establish and coordinate with client parties on IT governance frameworks, including security, privacy, access controls, and audit readiness across technology environments.Deliver finance and tax data products built on platforms like Snowflake, including layered data models, analytical views, and integration endpoints for business intelligence or AI services.Serve as technical advisor on tax and finance transformation programs, including re-architecting processes like Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (OTC), and Record-to-Report (RTR) for digital enablement.Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Finance, IT, Risk, Legal) and external vendors to design, configure, and deploy scalable tax and finance technology ecosystems.Provide technical assistance in structured RFP and vendor selection processes, evaluating cost of ownership (TCO), integration complexities, and scalability of solutions.Lead change management and digital upskilling efforts across finance and tax teams to ensure effective adoption of new platforms and processes.Monitor emerging technologies in AI, analytics, and cloud computing to advise on strategic innovation opportunities.The RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Tax, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.Minimum of 6 years of Public Accounting, Corporate Tax, or Digital Finance experience.Advanced certifications preferred.Strong background in data engineering, DevOps pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).Experience architecting and operating modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery), including schema design, compute scaling, access control, and performance tuning.Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Azure Bicep) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).Familiarity with tax and enterprise technology vendors (e.g., ONESOURCE, Corptax, Alteryx, Tableau, SAP, Oracle Cloud, Workiva).Understanding of IT general controls (ITGCs), data privacy, and audit frameworks (e.g., SOC 1/2).Exceptional communication and program management skills; proven ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.Excellent analytical and problem-solvingStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives pensation And BenefitsOur firm offers competitive base compensation, benefits package, and a discretionary employee bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics per the defined program guidelines. For individuals hired to work in Seattle, the expected salary range for this role is $154,000 - $198,600; the actual salary offer can vary based upon employee qualifications.Benefits: Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our firm’s 401(k) plan upon hire. We offer paid time off, beginning at 160 hours annually and provides twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
