OverviewWe are a growing CPA firm looking for a Tax Manager to join our growing team.Base pay range$200,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yrJob detailsWe are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax services for our clients. This position offers opportunities for leadership and career advancement.Why join usRoom for growth — average team growth of 10-15% per yearGreat pay and benefitsHybrid scheduleResponsibilitiesOversee and manage the preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax returns, property tax returns, and annual reportsEnsure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and paymentsManage and coordinate tax audits by various taxation authoritiesResearch and analyze complex tax issues; develop and implement strategies to minimize tax liabilitiesLead and coordinate activities of tax staff and supervise their workProvide innovative tax planning and review of complex income tax returnsStay updated with current tax practices and changes in tax lawHandle all aspects of tax compliance for multi-state and multi-national operationsManage the preparation and review of quarterly and annual tax provisionsDevelop and maintain relationships with clients to provide exceptional client serviceProvide training, guidance, and feedback to staffQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree in Taxation is highly desirableCertified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is requiredMinimum of 5 years of progressive experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate and public tax experienceExperience with multi-state income tax returns, tax compliance, tax provision, property tax returns, use tax, and income tax paymentsExperience with federal and state auditsSignificant supervisory experience (2 years minimum)Excellent client service and ability to develop strong client relationshipsStrong leadership and personnel management skillsAnalytical skills with the ability to think independentlyKnowledge of tax software and Microsoft OfficeAbility to work additional hours as needed and travel to client sitesAdditional informationJobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
