You will provide strategic tax services for flow-through entities and partnerships, oversee tax compliance and reporting mainly in the Private Equity Space, and work closely with firm leadership and staff to serve clients and grow the business. You will also mentor and develop staff, leveraging your expertise to enhance their skills. As part of a rapidly growing firm, Baker Tilly offers an ownership experience working with entrepreneurial partners.You will enjoy this role if :You are an expert in flow-through tax entities and partnerships, especially within the Private Equity sector, and familiar with the Dallas market.You want to work for a growing CPA advisory firm with ample opportunities.You are passionate about professional growth and creating opportunities for others.What you will do :Lead Baker Tilly's tax services, providing federal tax compliance and consulting to commercial clients, with a focus on flow-through entities and partnerships.Manage client relationships, ensuring high-quality service, adherence to deadlines, and compliance standards.Consult on technical tax matters and special projects related to partnership taxation and accounting methods.Advise clients on tax implications of transactions, structuring, and planning strategies.Research tax issues, respond to inquiries from tax authorities, and provide recommendations.Coordinate with specialty tax practices on complex matters including state and local, high net worth, international, R&D, credits, and incentives.Oversee tax planning for federal and individual clients, review complex tax research, and ensure compliance.Recommend business and process improvements based on operational insights.Stay updated on tax law changes and communicate impacts to clients and staff.Manage staffing, billing, collections, and profitability targets.Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network, develop relationships, and pursue new business opportunities.Participate in developing market positioning, branding, and vest in professional development through firm programs.Support team growth and recruitment efforts.Demonstrate leadership, initiative, teamwork, and high ethical standards.Represent the firm at community events and functions.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in accounting or related field; CPA and/or JD required; Master's or advanced taxation certification preferred.15+ years in public accounting, with at least 5+ years of supervisory experience in counseling associates.Proven record of delivering high-quality tax services, managing complex issues, and leading teams.Strong technical knowledge of tax compliance, reporting, and implications for flow-through entities and partnerships, especially with Private Equity clients.Ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships, identify new opportunities, and generate revenue.Proactive, innovative, solution-oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Must be local to Dallas and willing to travel as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
