Been in business for decades, with plenty of room to grow!ResponsibilitiesOverseeing and managing the preparation and review of tax returns forms 1040, 1120, 1120s, 1065, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.Developing and implementing strategic tax planning for clients.Providing expert guidance on GAAP compliance and other accounting principles.Managing and fostering client relationships, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.Supervising, training, and mentoring junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.Liaising with tax authorities and providing tax audit support.Keeping up to date with industry trends and changes in tax laws to ensure the company's compliance and competitive edge.Collaborating with other departments to streamline processes, improve efficiencies and achieve the company's objectives.QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications such as CPA or MST are highly desirable.A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and review, with a strong focus on forms 1040, 1120, 1120s, 1065.Proven experience in GAAP compliance and tax planning.Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.Excellent client relationship management skills, with a focus on providing superior customer service.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax laws and regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax concepts to a non-technical audience.High ethical standards and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.Proficiency in tax preparation software and other relevant technology.If you are a seasoned tax professional with a passion for excellence and a commitment to client service, we would love to hear from you.
