OverviewDirector Client Solutions role at Acosta. The Client Solutions Director is responsible for strategic growth planning to include new business development, capacity planning, resource planning and profitability. Represent the company and the principal during negotiation and execution of special project coverage in stores, including accurate billing, reporting and analysis at project conclusion. Ensure superior project execution, prospect and lead generation on new project business opportunities, in addition to partnering with other internal teams to ensure superior category results.ResponsibilitiesBuild working relationships with clients, field management and Impact Business Operations/COREFoster cooperation and teamwork with Grocery/Walmart associates on projects to ensure growth and profitabilityWork with the principal to negotiate and define category requirements, expectations, goals and objectivesCommunicate category requirements, goals and objectives to the Retail organizationRefine category framework and collateral to ensure consistency and clarity for the Retail organizationCoordinate the preparation and entry of each category plan into the necessary company systemsCoordinate the preparation of accurate and timely billing statements for each projectWork with Retail Analysts to gather, analyze and report category dataCommunicate project results to clientsDevelop project recaps for internal use in the CORE Business Operations knowledge baseCreate opportunities for revenue enhancement by reviewing category data and recaps and coordinating the preparation of supporting documentation and presentation materialsCoordinate and partner with the work of Impact Business Operations Client Solutions Managers/CORE Grocery/Walmart and support staffAssist in the design of the company’s proprietary systems when requiredMeeting the physical requirementsOther duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum Education & Work ExperienceBachelor’s Degree preferred10 years relevant work experience3 years of relationship management experienceCPG experienceRetail Strategy experienceKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesMust be able to effectively communicate with othersStrong negotiation and relationship building skillsMust be able to operate standard office equipment and software used to support the sales functionMust have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a carMust be willing to travelMust possess strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, negotiation, and sales skillsMust have the ability to analyze sales and marketing information needed to make effective sales presentationsThis position requires that you drive on behalf of Acosta Sales & MarketingPhysical RequirementsSeeingAbility to TravelColor PerceptionAbout UsAcosta is a part of Acosta Group – a collective of the industry’s most trusted retail, marketing and foodservice agencies reimagining the way people connect with brands at every point in their shopping journey.
