The role involves cross‑functional collaboration to support retention, recognition, and internal communications, and supports the firm’s CSR, pro bono, and community engagement efforts.Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and passionate Employee Engagement Manager to join our team. The Employee Engagement Manager at LP plays a pivotal role in cultivating a connected, inclusive, and high‑performing workplace culture. This role is responsible for designing and executing strategies that enhance our firm’s people‑centered culture, foster belonging, drive performance, and align engagement efforts with LP’s strategic priorities. The manager will collaborate across departments to implement initiatives that support retention, recognition, and internal communication. The manager plays a key role in supporting the firm’s corporate social responsibility (CSR), pro bono and community engagement efforts.Key ResponsibilitiesEngagement Strategy & Feedback Systems: Design and implement an employee engagement strategy that feels intentional and can be applied consistently across the firm for employees at every level and phase of the employee life cycle.Lead initiatives that promote CSR, inclusion, recognition, and community involvement, including DEI and pro bono programs.Develop and execute employee engagement surveys and translate insights into actionable strategies.Track and analyze engagement metrics, survey results, and feedback loops to measure the effectiveness of engagement strategies and improve programs.Establish real-time feedback mechanisms and pulse surveys to gather perspectives and suggestions to capture employee ternal Communications: Partner with Marketing and Talent teams to craft internal messaging and communications that reflect LP’s values and culture.Regularly communicate with the firm through culture spotlights, onboarding resources, and engagement content that highlight success stories, and attract and retain top talent.Event Planning & Recognition: Develop and execute firm‑wide events, milestone celebrations, and recognition programs that are intentional and meaningful to reinforce belonging and morale.Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop new onboarding and integration experiences that connect new hires to LP’s culture.Pro Bono Program Administration: Collaborate with the Pro Bono Chair and Legal Operations to support the administration of LP’s pro bono initiatives.Maintain and update the Pro Bono Spotlight and internal pro bono pages to promote current matters and resources.Track and report pro bono participation and hours, including metrics for year‑over‑year growth and impact.Coordinate check‑ins with leadership to review pro bono strategy and progress.Support recognition efforts for pro bono contributions, including internal communications and external award nominations.Collaboration & Relationship Building: Foster strong internal relationships to become a trusted advisor and key contact for employees and managers within the organization.Work across groups to ensure engagement initiatives are consistent, impactful, and aligned with departmental and firm goals. Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on engagement‑related issues.Required Skills & CapabilitiesStrategic Thinking: Ability to align engagement and experience activities with firm‑wide munication: Strong written and verbal skills for messaging and storytelling.Creativity: Apply design thinking to create experiences and programs unique to LP.Technology Proficiency: Skilled in leveraging digital tools for communication and engagement.Data Literacy: Ability to interpret survey data and pro bono metrics.Event Management: Experience planning and executing large‑scale events.Empathy & Emotional Intelligence: Ability to understand and respond to employee needs with sensitivity.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Communications, or related field.5+ years of experience in employee engagement, internal communications, or talent development.Experience in legal or professional services environment preferred.Familiarity with pro bono program administration or community engagement initiatives is a plus.Salary and BenefitsThe annual salary range for this position is $100,000 to $115,000. LP believes this is the pay range it will pay for this position at the time of posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be contingent on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant and the requirements of the position.
