Director, Sales Effectiveness and LearningJoin to apply for the Director, Sales Effectiveness and Learning role at HD SupplyOverviewCreates and manages sales enablement programs to increase the efficiency and productivity of sales associates. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to address gaps and improvement opportunities in selling processes.ResponsibilitiesLead a team of facilitators and instructional designers responsible for sales enablement programs to increase efficiency, productivity, and engagement of sales associates, including sales technology.Develop and implement training, content, and tools to enhance sales processes and seller effectiveness.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address gaps and improvement opportunities in the selling process.Oversee the implementation and change enablement of sales processes and practices in the field.Lead and support organizational design, redesign, and restructuring efforts across the sales organization.Establish competency and assessment frameworks to evaluate the performance and skill sets of sales associates.Assist in the creation and adaptation of onboarding materials, including sales enablement content for new hires.Partner with field sales leaders to develop and reinforce associate selling skills through education, observation, mentorship, and motivation.Work with sales leadership to create development plans for associates with additional training terpret sales data and recommend strategies to drive desired behaviors and outcomes.Conduct needs analyses and develop resources to address gaps and improvement opportunities in selling processes.Key QualificationsMinimum 5+ years of experience in sales operations, sales training, and/or sales enablementOrganizational design experienceExpertise in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Sales Processes, and sales enablement tools (e.g., Salesforce)Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to evaluate sales performance and establish competencies and assessment frameworksTech-savvy; familiar with systems and tools for trainingEducation and ExperienceTypically requires BS/BA in a related disciplineGenerally 9+ years of experience in a related field, including several years in a management/supervisory capacityOur Goals for Diversity, Equity, and InclusionWe are committed to creating a culture that promotes equity, respect, and advocacy for every HD Supply associate.
