OverviewEmployment Attorney (In-House, Remote or Hybrid, Contract) at Latitude Legal. Flexible, remote or hybrid engagement with opportunities to work on labor and employment matters for corporate clients and law firms.ResponsibilitiesProvide high-level counsel on a wide range of employment law matters to clients.Counsel HR teams on employment issues and advise on EEOC/ADA/FMLA, wage & hour, workers’ comp, immigration, employee benefits, policies & procedures, investigations, disputes, terminations, and hiring practices.Support and partner with clients to address employment-related challenges and disputes, including litigation or dispute resolution as needed.Collaborate effectively in a flexible, remote or hybrid team environment and manage client expectations independently while contributing to a collaborative workflow.Qualifications4+ years advising on labor & employment matters, ideally with an Am Law 200 firm, boutique employment practice, and/or in-house legal department.Broad knowledge across employment issues as listed above.Experience counseling HR teams and handling EEOC and wrongful termination claims (litigation or dispute resolution).Strong client partnership skills and ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.Licensed and in good standing in the state of residence.Outstanding professional references.Position DetailsType of Role: Engagement ContractSchedule: Part-time to Full-timeLocation: Remote or Hybrid in Minneapolis/St. PaulCompensation & BenefitsPay: Annualized pay ranges from $165,000 to $225,000+ on a full-time basis. Contract pay is based on factors including experience, credentials, location, market demand, and candidate preference.Benefits: Professional liability insurance coverage for contract engagements; benefits eligible when working 20+ hours per week, including medical, dental, vision, life, LTD, AD&D, and a qualified 401k plan.
