The role is located in Orange County, CA with hybrid or remote work arrangement. Over 3,500 global employees.ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop a global payroll team across the U.S., Canada, and Australia to achieve high performance and professional growth.Oversee all payroll operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of wages, equity compensation, and international tax and labor requirements (including SOX controls and data privacy).Manage vendor relationships and payroll systems (Workday), including administration, integrations, and optimization.Partner with Finance, HR, and Legal to align payroll with broader organizational processes, equity cycles, and compliance needs.Lead payroll-related aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and international expansions, including system and process integrations.Develop global payroll policies, procedures, and training to drive consistency, efficiency, and organizational understanding.Stay current on international payroll regulations, tax laws, and best practices, implementing updates as needed.Contribute to HRIS initiatives and future payroll system evaluations, acting as a strategic partner on process improvements.Qualifications10+ years of global payroll experienceExperienced with mid- to large-sized (1,000+ employees) organizationsBachelor's degreeSupervisory/management experienceWorking with payroll and equity administration systems (e.g. Workday, ADP, Fidelity)Company & BenefitsCompetitive CompensationLong term equity eligibilityCompetitive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage401k with a 4% employer match, Roth options, and a broad investment portfolioEntrepreneurial work environmentMentorship and professional development resourcesHybrid or remote work arrangementEqual OpportunityJobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
