For more information visit our E-Verify Website.ResponsibilitiesAssist the judiciary with case management, pending litigation, processing of criminal and civil appeals, and a variety of issues.Exercise considerable interpretation and judgment of legal issues in areas of criminal, civil, appellate, and/or administrative law.Draft memoranda, opinions, and orders; conduct legal research; review briefs and case files; and advise judges on pending litigation.Work under the supervision of the Supervising Trial Court Staff Attorney.QualificationsEducation: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school required. Additional relevant experience may substitute for the educational level on a year-for-year basis.Experience: Five years of work experience in the practice of law or as a law clerk in an appellate or trial court.Certification and Special Requirements: Membership in Good Standing in the Florida Bar within one year of hire.
