Team Lead (L5)

JOB DUTIES: As an L5 Team Lead you will manage a team of 5-10 technical engineers. This role is responsible for delivery execution, team development, and aligning technical work with business goals. The Team Lead will play a key role in project planning, team growth, and cross-functional collaboration. This role requires strong leadership and strategic thinking. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and support a team of engineers through planning, execution, and delivery Break down complex initiatives into manageable tasks and incremental releases Set timelines and ensure delivery commitments are met Facilitate communication between the team and stakeholders Provide coaching, feedback, and career development Remove blockers and improve team productivity Maintain quality through sound development processes Translate business needs into clear technical direction Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in business, management, or related technical field 5+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role Strong people leadership and coaching abilities Project planning and delivery management Effective communication across technical and business contexts Conflict resolution and team-building skills Technical understanding to support informed decision-making Performance evaluation and resource planning experience LOCATION: This position is based out of our corporate office in Johnston, Iowa.
