Must Haves:3 7 years experience in construction safety.Bachelors degree in Safety, Health or Environmental Applied Sciences or related discipline preferred.CHST or OSHA 500 Required (CSP or ASP will also be accepted in lieu of those).Certifications in CPR and First Aid preferred.OSHA 30hr requiredDay-to-day: Insight Global is seeking a safety professional to assist the Division Safety Manager and other safety coordinators to ensure Southland Industries meets all safety requirementsYou will be in the field and on site at the data center in Sterling VA to help manage and coordinate all division safety activitiesTours and inspects small or large, complex job sites to ensure compliance with company, state and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulationsMaintains all site required documentation related to safety issues, including accident reports, inspection reports and training logsDocuments information for the investigation of accidents and injuries and submits data to regulatory agencies as required and consults with manager on decisions that significantly impact the company
