Human Resources Assistant (Bilingual - Spanish Required) ?Long Island City, NY | Hybrid (In-Office First 90 Days) ?Full-Time | Permanent | $65,000-$75,000 (Non-Exempt)Are you an organized, bilingual HR professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and values making an impact? We're seeking aHuman Resources Assistantto join a well-established building services company in the NYC Metro Area. This role supports executive HR leadership and is integral to ensuring efficient and effective operations across the HR department. ? Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the first point of contact for general HR inquiries, providing prompt and professional support.Provide administrative support for workplace investigations, onboarding/offboarding, and HR project initiatives.Maintain highly confidential employee records and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and prepare internal communications and presentations.Track HR metrics and manage data using Excel (VLOOKUPs, large datasets).Collaborate with HR leaders on union-related activities and labor relations.Assist with benefits administration, compliance training, and employee engagement efforts.Prepare documentation for audits, unemployment claims, and government reporting.? What You Bring3+ years of HR or high-level administrative experience, preferably in a corporate or unionized environment.Bilingual fluency inSpanish and Englishisrequired.Strong organizational and communication skills, with a high level of professionalism.Experience working with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and managing sensitive information.Flexibility to adjust hours for special projects as needed.? Schedule & Work Environment***** 3 days/week in office following an initial90-day, fully in-office training period.Candidatesmustbe comfortable working on-site during onboarding and as needed per department requirements.?
