***** – Field Technician*****Boston, MA ⏳Contract *****12 Months About the Role We are seeking aNetwork Field Technicianto join our team and support data center operations in Los Angeles. This role will focus on server deployment, cabling, and hardware maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of one of the world’s largest distributed platforms. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing data center environments. Key Responsibilities Install, rack/un-rack, and maintain servers, switches, and related equipment. Run and manageEthernet, power, and fiber cabling. Replace disk drives, memory, and perform basic hardware troubleshooting. Conduct fiber work, including scoping, cleaning, and light meter testing. Box/unbox, organize, and process incoming/outgoing equipment and RMAs. Report damaged packages to logistics and ensure accurate documentation. Collaborate with network infrastructure engineers and internal teams to support deployments. Requirements Prior experience in adata center environment. Ability tolift 50–70 lbsand move/un-box equipment for extended periods. Proficiency inEnglish(and local language, if applicable). Reliable transportation for travel between local sites.
